CPRS: Senate Select Committee on Climate Policy releases critique


Yesterday the Senate Select Committee on Climate Policy released its report on the Government's proposed Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme.

The Select Committee was formed on 11 March 2009 to inquire into policies relating to climate change, and in particular emissions trading and the proposed CPRS. The Committee received in excess of 770 public submissions .

The report has a number of recommendations.
